Every way of travelling has its own track, with six ranks to climb. Collect badges, fill a passport page for every park, and put the stickers you earn on your own vehicles, aircraft and cameras.
Each track has six ranks. Your overall explorer level adds them all up, so a pilot who also walks and photographs climbs fastest.
Distance flown, airstrips landed at, survey flights, places uncovered from the air
Distance driven, routes completed, parks driven through, night drives
Distance on foot, trails, tracks followed, places explored on foot
Species photographed, photo scores, a Big Five portfolio, your bird list, sunrise and sunset shots
Samples delivered, animal counts, veld checks, camera traps, snares removed
Fifty-eight badges to start with, from long-haul flying and night drives to bird lists and snare sweeps. Some are hidden until you find them.
Your first 100 km flown, 10 samples delivered, 5 species photographed
Fifteen airstrips, 30 species sighted, a sharp photo scoring 85
A park 100 % explored, 250 first-explorer credits
50,000 km flown, 2,000 km on foot, 50 parks visited
Every park has a passport page. Stamp it for entering, flying over, driving through, walking and photographing, and again at 25, 50, 75 and 100 % explored. Your Clubhouse profile shows how many parks you've stamped.
Stamps and ranks earn stickers. Put up to eight on each vehicle, aircraft and camera: doors, bonnets, fuselages, tails, camera bodies, lens hoods and bags.
Bodies from a smartphone to a pro camera, lenses up to a 600 mm super-telephoto, bean bags, tripods, binoculars, camera traps and a drone.
Photos are scored on the species, the framing, your distance and the light. Photo badges are judged per camera class, so a great shot on a starter camera counts.
Distances and speeds are checked for every way of travel, so nobody climbs the ranks by teleporting.
Exploring in the full game counts in full. Exploring in the browser counts too, up to a daily limit.
Nothing you earn by exploring can be sold, traded or turned into money.
